A PCB-mount AC-DC power module that takes 220V AC and outputs isolated 5V 1A DC. No separate transformer or rectifier circuit is needed — just solder the 4 pins. Vigortronix modules have an orange case, so they stand out on a PCB.

The datasheet states that a 2A slow-blow fuse must be fitted on the input. Where EMI requirements are strict, follow the datasheet's EMC application circuit (C1 0.1µF · C2 150µF · TVS SMBJ70A · MOV 14D561K). This part handles 220V directly, so take care with electric shock and isolation clearances.
