Package SOT-223
| Type | Low-dropout (LDO) linear regulator, fixed 3.3V |
| Package | SOT-223 (also TO-252 and SO-8 versions) |
| Output voltage | 3.3V (3.251 ~ 3.349V, 25℃) |
| Output current | 1A |
| Dropout voltage | max 1.3V (at 0.8A, typ. 1.1V) |
| Max input voltage | 15V (absolute maximum rating) |
| Line regulation | max 0.2% |
| Current limit | 900mA min (typ. 1.1A) |
| Thermal protection | Shuts down above 165℃ junction temperature |
Values are from the Advanced Monolithic Systems datasheet.
The datasheet states that a 22µF tantalum capacitor on the output keeps it stable under all conditions. Solder the SOT-223 tab to a copper area on the PCB for good heat dissipation.
